Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil, for cooking

Burger buns

Toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, avocado, and additional cheese (optional)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, beaten egg, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).

If adding additional cheese, place a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.

Toast the burger buns lightly in the same skillet or on a grill.

Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun and adding your preferred toppings such as lettuce, tomato, and avocado.

Serve immediately with your favorite side or dipping sauce.
