Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, sliced thin

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup cheese (cheddar or a Mexican blend), shredded

2 cups frozen fries (preferably crinkle-cut)

½ cup sour cream

¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)

Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Fries: Preheat your oven and cook the frozen fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Set aside.

Season the Steak: In a bowl, combine the flank steak with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the steak is evenly coated.

Cook the Steak: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak in a single layer and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and slice into strips.

Assemble the Burritos: Lay a large flour tortilla on a clean surface. Sprinkle a portion of the shredded cheese in the center. Next, add a layer of crispy fries, followed by the cooked steak strips. Top with a dollop of sour cream, fresh cilantro, sliced jalapeños, and additional cheese if desired.

Wrap the Burrito: Fold in the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll from the bottom up to enclose the fillings securely. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.

Grill the Burritos: Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Place the burritos seam-side down and grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortillas are golden and the cheese has melted.

Serve: Cut the burritos in half and serve immediately with extra sour cream, hot sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy your flavorful, cheesy creation!
