Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 ounces of mozzarella cheese, sliced

4 ounces of pepperoni slices

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.

On each triangle, place about 1-2 slices of mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni.

Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the cheese and pepperoni for added flavor.

Starting from the wide end of the triangle, carefully roll each crescent roll towards the point, tucking in the edges to secure the filling.

Place the rolled croissants seam-side down on the lined baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the croissant rolls generously with the beaten egg to give them a golden color while baking.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping and garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 8 croissant rolls
