Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.

Sprinkle a pinch of garlic powder and Italian seasoning on each triangle for extra flavor.

Place a slice of pepperoni on the wider end of each triangle, followed by a generous spoonful of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the cheese and pepperoni tightly.

Arrange the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk the egg and use it to brush the tops of the croissants for a golden finish.

If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top for added flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
