Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated croissant dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Olive oil (for drizzling)

Sea salt (to taste)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Open the package of croissant dough and unroll it on a flat surface. Separate the triangles carefully so they don’t tear.

In a small bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella, sliced pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, and Italian herbs.

Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the pepperoni and cheese mixture at the wide end of each croissant triangle.

Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the dough towards the pointed end to form a crescent shape. Ensure the filling stays inside.

Place the rolled croissant on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the tops of the croissant rolls for a shiny finish.

Lightly drizzle olive oil over each roll and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.

Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
