Ingredients
  

8 ounces of tri-color rotini pasta

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved

1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped

1/3 cup red onion, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tri-color rotini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool. Set aside.
