Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp honey

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Breading: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Coat the Salmon: Toss the salmon cubes in the flour mixture until fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Heat the Oil: In a large non-stick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cook the Salmon: Carefully add the coated salmon cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove the salmon bites from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir to combine, letting the sauce simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine: Return the crispy salmon bites to the skillet and toss gently to coat them evenly in the honey garlic sauce.

Serve: Transfer the glazed salmon bites to a plate, garnish with chopped green onion and sesame seeds, and enjoy while warm!
