Ingredients

8 ounces penne pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets for the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté until the chicken is cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked penne, broccoli, and chicken back into the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated with the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Serve and Garnish: Divide the creamy broccoli and chicken penne between serving plates. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
